Homecoming 2008
Ok so I was kind of disappointed this year when Mike didn't ask me to the homecoming dance, but I guess I will get over it. So last Saturday was homecoming here at BYU and we had a very busy day. We woke up to find that it was snowing outside which was bad news because we were doing the cougar run at 9:45 which is a 5k they do every year on homecoming. So we ran some errands and I thought I might die because it was so cold. However I am happy to report that by the time we started walking over to the race the weather cleared up and it stopped snowing. We finished the race in exactly thirty minutes which was like 9:52 min/mi. We are not fast but at least we finished right? My good friend Jessica ran with me and she beat me as usual (this is our 3rd one this year together) . After the race Mike's little sister Karly came over since she was in town visiting and we took her to the football game with us. It was really fun since we have not seen her since January so we were happy to have her here. The Cougars won so it was a good time for everyone (except the 5 New Mexico fans that were there). Go Cougs!

Hello there! I'm very envious of you with your little marathons you do! I would love to do one some day! one day......... :) So actually, that's funny that you'll be in Portland, cause I was going to contact you to see where you guys were gonna be for Thanksgiving, cause Jeff and I will be in Utah! silly us... We fly there the morning of Thanksgiving... and then we fly home the 2nd of December. so if you'll be in good ol' Utah county any of those days... I would LOVE to see you, and show you my cute little baby! And I also want to talk to you about Paris!! No ONE I know has ever been there, so I don't get to talk about all the cool places and stuff....
Totally cute! I am so glad that you are enjoying all the college festivities! I wish I could still enjoy some! Oh wait, I went to byu-idaho, so we didn't have very many. Anyway, I hope we get to see you over christmas break?
Yay for you for running in snowy-ish weather. I can't believe Mike didn't ask you to Homecoming...that really made me laugh. I'm really hoping that we can get together when you're here...we'll make it work!
HI Lacey!!! I have looked at your blog several times but never commented... don't ask me why cause I don't know! Anyways, it looks like you are doing great- you look so happy, you haven't changed a bit! I am so jealous that you went to Paris!!!! We should have a clark ward reunion sometime.. do you ever talk to Natalie Fowles anymore?
